Translation of Kirmiz’s note on the cover of the album: "Dedication: Anṣār, ʿAṣqalān, Nafḥa, Ṣarafand, al-Maskūbiyya and tens of names of Zionist prisons that are known to Palestinians. In 1980, the National Steering Committee in the occupied territories declared April 17 an annual solidarity day with Palestinian prisoners. From my side as an artist, I consider the modest album a way to commemorate this occasion and present all the songs to all Palestinian strugglers in Israeli prisons and all Arab detainees and prisoners in the prisons of backward Arab regimes. They stand tall with big hopes for a better Arab World."
